For millions of young girls, menstruation is not just a natural process – it’s a barrier to education, health and growth opportunities.
Myths and taboos invite misinformation which is passed on to the next generations, creating a cycle of stigma.

The Empower Her program champions menstrual health and dignity through–
Comprehensive Awareness Programs:
We create a safe space for young girls to learn about menstrual health through:
Group counseling sessions conducted by female counsellors in schools.
Providing accessible menstrual hygiene kits, and installing sanitary vending and incinerator machines in government schools.
Distribution of Curated Menstrual Hygiene Kits for 1 Year Inclusive of:
216 sanitary pads for 13 menstrual cycles.
4 undergarments to support sanitary pad usage.
1 educational booklet on menstrual hygiene and health.
Soap provisions for personal hygiene.
1 sling school bag to carry books and stationery.
IGF has installed Sanitary Dispensing Machines in female washrooms across all high-footfall platforms of Northern India Railways, dispensing 1 Million pads monthly. We are expanding our reach to other Indian states as well.
